Well I'm sorry, but I'd refuse to use something I'd bought for anything like that. I'd use theirs instead.Well, it's always a possibility they might trip up and kill themselves![]()
Is that funny? IMO it's a really disgraceful thing to say. You think you and yours are immune from mental illness? Think again.Well, it's always a possibility they might trip up and kill themselves![]()
oh get a life, of course it wasn't a bloody serious commentIs that funny? IMO it's a really disgraceful thing to say. You think you and yours are immune from mental illness? Think again.
Rather than buying the meter, the council should be able to lend you one for this very purpose.she isnt polish by any chance? i knew someone of identical description. it got so far that i had to put earphones on when watching tv, and she still would complain.
from what iv read you have been more than reasonable.
however i suggest you protect yourself against any possible problems.
you need to get statements or even just signatures from your neighbors, on all possible sides.
stating briefly that they do not consider you a nuisance and your noise levels are acceptable.
next get a cheap decibel meter (or an app) and for 5 days record the static noise levels (doing nothing) and your maximum noise level.
depending on how you are,
you may want to occasionally video record the results on decibel meter and activity at intervals throughout the day.
that way you can be secure, and if se decides to (falsely) accuse you on an official leval you have an iron clod defense
^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Absolutely! Readings from a cheap DIY meter set up by a non-professional will count for absolutely nothing, I'm afraid.Rather than buying the meter, the council should be able to lend you one for this very purpose.
Could she borrow one from where she's learning to play the guitar, without fear of making too much noise?^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Absolutely! Readings from a cheap DIY meter set up by a non-professional will count for absolutely nothing, I'm afraid.
