Im cancelling appointments this week because it's going to be too hot to take the dogs as they always get excited upon arrival, not good in their heat. In addition, I dont want to leave them at home alone in this heat. Sure, we have the AC, but if it broke down or we had a power cut they'd cook.
So a bit of a week wasted really, but I'll catch up on my reading and make the bedt of it.

Northern has cancelled just about every train from where I live into Manchester - it's not that hot - the line is a bit wobbly at the best. It's meant I've had to drive into work as my daughter needs a life as she has booked out an animation studio today and tomorrow to complete her coursework. Can't see the trains running tomorrow when it will be warmer.

Just had an email from the council saying we need to get our recycling & rubbish out by 5AM this week (usually 7AM), as they will be starting early to avoid the worst of the heat.
