How do fellow forum members convince their other half when a purchase is "required"??

Yep, thanks, you're probably right. tend not to count my blessings a often as I should. (Could always hold his golf clubs to ransom if I change my mind though!)

Erm no and no. Just been admiring all the lovely bikes and got a bit carried away! Probably wouldn't ride it anyway, just polish and gaze at it, lol

Will " sow the seeds" make him think it's his idea, (that's how I got a new bathroom). Like look of a cyclo cross bike so will convince him it's a great idea so we don't always have to stick to the road, (he has a hybrid). Thanks for that Here's a wee pic of my bike.

ah thats an easy one tell him your road bike is useless for going up volcanoes and mountains and that you need a competent mtb to run along side it
