When I was a kid I used to have a recurring dream that my feet would get stuck to the ground when I was in the middle of crossing the road, then wake up just as a lorry ran me over.

I have a thing where I try to run, but go very very slowly, like I am trying to run underwater.

Either that or I can glide effortlessly along, with my feet sliding along the ground.

A couple of years ago I woke the neighbours screaming for help at the top of my voice when I dreamed that someone was stabbing me with a kitchen knife, then laid there sheepishly waiting to see if someone had called the police.

I was shot, so it was over before I really knew what had happened.

I was not very pleased at being dead. 😆

Thread resurrection.
Last night's dream was about a Toyota corolla gxi in lichen green that I owned around 1992.
It started off with me catching the front spoiler on a reverse off the drive manoeuvre and ended up with the car slowly being vandalized and me having to drive it home with no tyres on and a missing re quarter panel.
Swmbo asked me was I having a nightmare so I told her exactly what I had been dreaming about as she said that I was being very restless and vocal during it .

Strange one for me last night.
In my dream someone was asking my advice on visiting the South of France. I was giving him a list of 'must see' places and came to the Port were Brigitte Bardo lives.
I could not remember what it is called!! I kept waking all night struggling to recall the name.
When I got up this morning I quickly had to Google it.

Last night I dreamt I was working at a Citroen garage again just like I did in the early 90's .
I was tasked with manoeuvring a brand new model into a tight showroom space for its unveiling.
The ignition keys were mounted on the centre of the steering wheel.
I also dreamt about driving to Leicester for something, when I mentioned the above to swmbo her answer was it will be to collect a bike.

I dreamed last night that Mrs D wanted to buy a house in Yorkshire.

I told her it would be too far for her to commute to her job in MK, whereupon she drove me the route and it only took a couple of minutes.

I recently had a dream when I had to do a presentation about something but hadn't done any powerpoint material and had no idea what it was about. Woke up really stressed out.

A variant on the not done homework dream, typifying the last year or two of my career

I have vivid dreams most nights but mostly cannot remember much after I get out of bed.
Most involve cycling and driving in places I cannot connect to anything or anywhere in my past. People are involved, often those I know or have met in real life. My wife is sometimes with me as well.
Last night a bike like my Bike Friday toppled off a path and landed in a small river just too deep to get back out easily. Had to go and search for a hook of some kind and a bit of rope but got assistance from somebody I know.

A variant on the not done homework dream

I often get those types of dreams where I'm back at Uni (I graduated in 2002) and I've either not done some coursework, or I've done it but I can't hand it in on time. Usually there are obstacles in the way like crowds of people, or I just can't walk, or I walk towards the palce where I'm supposed to hand it in but I end up further away! Those types of dreams have become less requent though, and in the past 6 months have been replaced with dreams that I'm on holiday and/or in a strange city and I can't find my way back to my hotel

Weird dream last night I was running around a wooded area from within a game with someone and kept coming across sacred stones the size of a trig point.
People were chasing us and used magical weapons.
Woke up when swmbo was whispering calm down to me as I had woken her up whilst I was dreaming.

Last night's dream was all about moving furniture out of two rooms at my parents where new carpets are needed.
It included moving a big unit that last time it was moved took 4 of us to move each half of it about 10+ years ago.
This dream was sparked by mum reminding me about how much she would like some new carpet.

Last night in my dream I desperately had to get to railway station asmI was seeing a show in Larndon. The road was closed but I barrelled along it in my old XC90 and dumped the car at a roadblock. Then I realised I had no trousers so was being measured for a new pair of jeans by some hi tech device that enveloped each leg in turn and did some kind of scan. Then I woke up.

This morning I dreamt my wife had loads of snails in a bowl in the kitchen. The snails left their shells and were making a break for it at speed. I was trying to catch and get the snails out the door when I woke up.
