Cant work out which to go for!

Road bike I plan to just go out in dry weather - in winter this could be damp, with spray on roads but not when raining.
Hybrid - As above aside from those times when i go out and i get an unexpected shower!

I really need one 'in between' - but which of the 2 is best to use based on above? Leaning towards wet?

I've recently started trying muc off dry lube. Definitely much cleaner, but seems to not last anywhere near as long as the wet lube; even in dry conditions I am having to reapply every 60 miles or so. I thought maybe I was doing something wrong, but other online reviewers seem to find the same. Other dry lubes are reported as lasting longer, but I haven't tried them.

Dry never works for me. Doesn't lubricate for more than a couple of weeks, leaves gunge everywhere if you top it up (who wants to clean a chain every two weeks?) and doesn't prevent rust.
