@srw sorry if it was stating the obvious, but seeing more people on their bikes are 1am than cars or taxis in the centre of town was a good sight, however I wonder how many of them tasted tarmac due to earlier consumption...

Yes, the next day I was on a train to Sweden that lasted around 45 minutes.
I know there are a lot of stations in London, but I don't think there are any that accommodate a service like that
