In comparison, it seems unworthy now to post re this Univega....but these are great steel frames & the condition is excellent - would make a fine tourer/ commuter or keep as retro mtb. Currently £31.90: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/326915482269

I'd ask how a collection like this could ever be amassed but - per Occam's razor - it's probably just a simple sum of i) easy access (involved bike shop owner?) ii) funds and iii) time.

Storage too, though if you live in the sticks, maybe an empty barn (or two ! ) isn't that far away...
