Just drove to Leeds from Kent in cold and rain, so very poor range. I used the same charging station on the way there and back.
It’s a bank of 6 fast chargers up to 150kw.
On the way up only 1 station was occupied and it charged 40kw in 20 minutes. Works out at about 120kw p/h.
On the way back all 6 were occupied and it took 35 mins to charge 50kw. Works out at about 85kw per hour.
So my question is this. If all the spots at a charger are occupied will the speed of the charger be slower?

Yes. The site will have maximum power limit, each output is limited to keep total safe.

Tesla superchargers gang their outlets in evens and odd. So to attain faster charge you dont park adjacent to another vehicle. Unless it's a busy site and accept whatever charge rate is available.
