    Following on fromthe Chris Moyles thread, it got me wondering, Where are the DJ's i listended to then working now.

    Simon Mayo - Radio 2
    Simon Bates - Smooth Radio
    Gary Davis - No longer a DJ
    Steve Wright - Radio 2

    Cant remember who did drive time

    A few others

    Mike Osman - Radio Solent
    Kenny Everett - RIP (The greatest comedy act ever)
    DLT - Magic Network

    Tom Vance was my favourite with the Friday Rock Show when I was a kid. Sadly he is no longer with us.

    John Peel was my favourite. I was on holiday when I heard that he had died and I got quite choked up.

    Ray Moore, Radio 2. Again no longer with us. Stopped by his bosses from doing a farewell show.

    Bruno Brookes (ditto and internet radio, apparently)
    Whispering Bob (infrequent appearances)

    Can't remember their names, but I liked the Radio Caroline DJs at the end of the 70s/early 80s.

    Nicky Campbell and Pat Sharpe were OK, too, as was Chis Tarrant in his early days.

    Dave Pearce now does a late night thing on Radio 2 and I used to listen to him on Radio 1 in the mid to late 90s.

    I didn't think much of Simon Mayo when he was a Radio 1 DJ, but his Five Live show was brilliant.
