yeah, it'd be hard trying it one handed trying not to spill your ginI think they would be brilliant fun. Just wish my beach was a sandy one, don't fancy trying to climb 10ft of shingle![]()

If you were to try and convince someone what would you say were the major plus points? (Apart from taking you to all those nice places that you keep posting photos from)I don't tell anyone what bike to ride and I don't expect people to tell me what bike I should be riding. If someone wants to ride one on tarmac that's their choice. Maybe the people on very clean mtbs are just out for a pootle and their bike was filthy the day before, I don't care if they're in baggies or lycra. maybe people can only afford one bike so they have no decision on which bike to ride today.
Bikes have two wheels and can be ridden anywhere, they may not do the job as well as another but it's only a bike, maybe just a different shape or style.
I couldn't care a toss what people ride, more people on bikes is a good thing.
I wouldn't say planted but they grip. The correct tyres and pressures make the bike feel just right. Incorrect pressure will make the bike bounce on the tyres. They climb well too, right gearing with wide tyres give brilliant traction.
Grip on a lumpy trail sounds good to me.
The new 650b+ tyres are mini-fatties.
I suppose they could either be the best of both worlds, or the worst.
it'd look great parked next to his othersI think @potsy needs to add one to his stable, let's face it he has got one of every other discipline...... almost![]()
