9. the one about the bomber crew ?

Memphis Belle? Yes, very good.

I'm surprised that nobody has yet mentioned Where the Truth Lies. Must be one of them sleeper thingies.

I really hated that movie. I thought Ewan MacGregor's terrible singing was going to make my ears bleed and I had no idea what was going on. I was completely off my tits, mind ;).

Oh theclaud, this means we can never be together

I would have thought being off your tits would have made it far more watchable.

Howabout Withnail and I? I'll buy the popcorn/roll the spliffs

Whoa, punkypossum - get back in line! Withnail & I! - of course - don't know how I could've forgotten that one. And someone mentioned Run Lola Run - superb.

Do you think Arbitrary's list is... er... arbitrary? And is the missing r also abitrary?

Perhaps a little fluffy :wahhey:. Bu I notice nobody has picked Andy up on the pisspoor Love Actually! I hate that movie even more than Moulin Rouge.

Why has no-one chosen Amadeus?

Blimey, that could have been my list on a different day!

I don't know who it was who mentioned Payback, but for me, it's a pretty ordinary remake of the much better 1967, Point Blank, which has the fantastically menacing Lee Marvin as the anti-hero...

The Vanishing.

I hope you mean the original one, not the terrible Hollywood remake! (Incidentally, based on an interesting book by Tim Krabbe, who also wrote the only good cycling novel ever written, The Rider.)
