Just a newbie but I bought a carrera parva yesterday and love it. I was on a rubbish mountain bike that weighed a tonne. The parva is much lighter, and my average speed has gone up by roughly 10kph without any extra effort. I'm very pleased with the purchase and thus far would recommend!
