I had been toying with the idea of changing the route out of Bxl to shorten it, with a short section alongside some tram tracks. Given the numbers involved that has been consigned to the "bad idea bin"

Mr @BalkanExpress sir - we can take extra special care near tram tracks, even perhaps walking for a while. There will be two groups so we won't drive coach and horses through the law about cycling in groups.

It poured in the evening which is why we didn't return for din-dins. Dry tram infested cobbles was bad enough in the light. Wet in the dark just wimped us out.
