Shame about the estate road being closed, but at least there's a decent alternative by the sounds of it. I'm with Andrij on the venison though
I'll be doing this one after work- finish at eight or so (I hope, TBC...), nip home, then off to the station and thence HPC. And as it's only 25 miles back home from Felpham, I intend to ride it. Mileage should just about hit a ton for the day...

I suffer from a gippy wrist sometimes, I strongly recomend a neoprene wrist support with strap to support the wrist

Looks like that but you can get one with a wraparound strap that lets you support the wrist, the neoprene keeps the joint warm to aid recovery

and it stops short of the hand, the one over the palm can get a bit awkward
