A thread for food you love and want to share:

Maille Dijonaisse - much better than mayo and much better than dijon mustard, perks up any sandwich!

Creme de St Agur - stunningly scrummy speadable blue cheese delight...;)

Since getting hens, I admit to becoming a total egg snob, as an egg laid in the morning and eaten that same day, poached on homemade bread toasted, with butter melting into the toast & topped with a few chives from the garden... *heaven* There's no shop-bought egg that tastes anywhere near as good - flavour or texture.

I have the benefit of 'home eggs' without the benefit of 'home hens' as a couple of my neighbours give me eggs from their hens - they are lovely ;)

Blackcurrant jam. Good in gravy and on toast. The CoOp dearest version is good stuff.
