What's happened to all the enthusiastic football fans of the past 2 weeks?
I think they've gone back to the same locker that stores the tennis, rowing and horse racing 'fans' safely awaiting their occasional trot out.
Amused me when two rugby fans I know who usually bandy around 'Wendyball' comments ad-nauseam started giving it the full 'I'm an expert' opinions on various matches and who were clearly enjoying the games.

Ah well,4th place isn't that bad is it?
If i remember rightly,when we got beat by Italy in the 1990 3rd/4th place match both teams got bronze medals. So no one goes home empty handed!
