Forgetting to set my garmin

I always use two Garmins,, Just in case

Nothing quite so bad for me yet, but Endomondo on the phone stopped recording my route after 14km today. Luckily I noticed and restarted but it means I've 'lost' a kilometre, on what I know to be my first 20km. If I'd lost the whole ride, I'd be livid!

With an increasingly slow and unreliable phone, I must get myself a cycle computer sometime soon!

Had a similar thing happen to me last year went out did 56 miles and the garmin lost it when I stopped ans saved it at the end had to plug it into the computer and dig the ride out that way to load it to strava happily it was found as I was in no fit state to ride it again

Ooh - that has just reminded me that I have not uploaded the GPX files for my forum ride tomorrow! (To the ride thread OR my Garmin.) I'll do that now ...
