When I was a kid my Grandad always bought me a fountain pen as part of my birthday, wish I’d kept them but as a kid thought they always leaked and covered me in blue ink!

Dip your toe in the fountain pen world again, and you won't get covered in blue ink if you use a different colour!

My dad gave me a Parker fountain pen when I started secondary school which I still have although it only gets used for writing in cards now so I bought my daughter one when she started secondary school. She is supposed to be taking her A levels this summer and has used her pen all through school and still uses it now when they actually write stuff on paper rather than type online.

I have a Lamy pen and my Parker that my mum bought for me when I was 10 years old. I don’t write too much these days and using a fountain pen is a little treat!
