Freewheel cassette worn but doesn't look it?

When you get to 1.0 worn, it's already too late.
If you're wearing through chains/cassettes quickly it might be time to reevaluate what works for you on the bike with regards to gears and "mashing"

This ^^^^. The OP can carry on mashing, but a 52 on the front will give him even more mashing fun (with a 12t smallest sprocket on the new freewheel). Might even use 52/13or14 so he'd have two gears to choose from.
