Yes please. Form sent.
We saw something about that on Monday coming home from Bognor Regis. I'm sure @Flying Dodo is looking into it. Fingers crossed it'll be called off. There could be a travel difficulty looming. Industrial action on Southern's trains for 24 hours on Friday 20th.
I know, it's a worry.Well, the previous four days of strike action have been called off in favour of this total walkout. Two days of strike action recently went ahead as planned.
Ah. GP,WM. How strict are they with that policy at 2200? (As an aside, FCC to Blackfriars rather than London Bridge is better)Not if they won't take a bike though.
Doh ! The strike's Friday. My comment was referring to the Saturday.Cycle back to Brighton and then First Capital Connect to London ?
True. Although the strike map that Southern have issued suggests they may be some service by Southern on route to Victoria (assuming I've understood the colours correctly).Depends how busy the train is, given that there won't be any alternatives.
You can still book trains on another provider's website. I've just booked trains for the 13th, and even though Southern's website says in one place the strike action then is lifted, they don't allow you to buy.I'm regretting not pre-booking a ticket for that night now, as the website won't allow it any more.
From Brighton, it would only be Thameslink trains after 4:30 pm if there's a strike.True. Although the strike map that Southern have issued suggests they may be some service by Southern on route to Victoria (assuming I've understood the colours correctly).
I've never pre booked a ticket home and I've not been stranded yet. There are often little groupsave sydicates that you can join. That said I normally ride part of the way home.Anyone else just getting a train ticket when they get to the station or is everyone booking tickets now??
