FNRttC Friday Night Ride to the Coast, Manchester to Morecambe 1st August

We meet in Albert Square, just in front of the town hall.
It's about 1.5 miles from MCR Piccadilly.

Google Maps says it's 0.9 mile.
10 mins ride.
I have an email from Mr. Legg requesting arrival at Albert Square not later than 1145pm.

Bikes should be at the terminus end of trains at Piccalilli.

Less than a mile from station to Albert Sq but watch out for the tram lines. Cycling nightmare for the unwary.

It's do-able though. I'm a total wuss at city cycling and I coped on the Manchester-Blackpool ride!

So I could have a 2nd (and 3rd) drink with wanda, that's why .
Sigh, it'll just be me and all the shoppers in Lancaster then .

I think my train out is even later! Couldn't get a cheapish one at any other time...probably because a load of b****y cyclists pinched them all before me.

We're having breakfast in the (very welcoming) Welcome Cafe in Morecambe's Arndale Centre. They're opening early for us.
Their plan is to put teas and coffees out on the side while they serve up the breakfasts.
They've asked if we can give them an idea in advance what we'd like.
The options seem to be:-
Full English
Veggie
Beans on toast
Eggs on toast

If you fancy anything else let me know and I'll ask them but please keep it simple.

Please PM me with your requests by tomorrow and I'll let the cafe know.

ETA: They're going to charge us a flat rate whatever we have. I think it'll be £5 each.

I'm being met at Morecombe by SWIMR & being chaffuered home after spending the day in town.There is a particular swcond hand bookshop that we want to go to & a "last century" bike shop that is an alladin's cave of retro stuff.

What's the name of the "last century" bike shop?

Is anyone else arriving at Piccadilly around 11pm? I have zero confidence in my navigation skills so it would be good if there are others heading to Albert Square around that time...
(And is it too early to be looking at weather forecasts? I think I may have to fettle the mudguards...)
