I am really hoping to be back cycling before this, otherwise I am going to be an overweight depressed curmudgeon. I think I have a pass now, solely so I can provide advance notice when we arrive at Grabesend.

I've booked in for this ride as it heads almost past my front door.

It looks as though our trip to the Rhine may be called off due to lack of funds, so what few funds we have may be available for use at the Waterfront. While sad about the likelihood of missing Germany, I am excited by the prospect of my first FNRttC in absolutely ages - I suspect I've not done one since the glorious Southwold adventure last Summer.

Let the train take the strain, or if you've got a chauffeur, get them to pick you up (don't drive yourself back). It must be admitted though that some deluded souls do cycle back.
