On one Audax going down the hill my waterproof jacket was flapping in the wind. A horse with rider about 50 yards to the left of the road got spooked. Thirty years on I still wonder if she survived. 🙁

Once I'd found the car I knew I had the right road - just needed to find the spot, which took a few attempts. The southern shore of Lake Vyrnwy:

The notification system seems to be working intermittently at the moment, and I'm unable to ping Ming. So I think I'd better proceed with the next.

This road doesn't seem to have a name, but the bridge does. It gets a mention in the Wikipedia page for the river, but isn't named on any map I've looked at.
