Garmin Edge 200 courses not showing

The courses I uploaded from RWGPS are not showing on my Garmin Edge 200 even though they are showing in the courses folder of the device. I've tried deleting them and then adding them again but no luck so far. They were showing previously. I've also tried just adding back in two in case it was a memory problem but that didn't work either.

Does anyone have any ideas why this might be?

Have you saved on your computer's hard drive first then moved into new files?

Yes, Pat. I saved first to the computer hard drive and then dragged and dropped into the courses folder.

Sometimes if my Garmin 200 refuses to play, I delete the lot and start again.
Once I had to do it a few times before it took the route.

See Ians post. you need to load them to new files so that the Garmin will convert them, or cast dome magic garmin spell that allows them to show up in courses. dont drag them directly into courses.

Thank you! No I hadn't, I'd dropped them straight into courses. I've put them in New Files and they're back. Brilliant.

I didn't know it had to be in New Files for the 200. I use my 705 for navigation.

I must have known it once but clearly completely forgot how I managed it!

I find my 705 sometimes won't navigate. Depends upon track points, too many and they crash.
