Well there is the issue of consent if he is getting that kind of a kick out of it and he is taking the pictures without asking.

I was kidding with 'any objections' but there is no issue of consent with images shot in a public place as there is no right to privacy there

I don't have a skirt lifestyle, but then again I don't have a trouser shape so the skirts won

Step through frames and skirt guards are the way to go

That's the Tweed Run outfit, but I cycle home from work on the same bike in my work gear, which is always a skirt or dress. I recently cycled to a job interview in a pencil skirt on a Boris bike - it's very doable.

Mind, that's assuming you are cycling for transport and don't want to have to wear special clothes. If it's a sports ride on an activity specific bike I'd wear cycle-specific clothing.

That's an lovely photo, so glad you decided against trousers.

I'm not sure about that helmet though, does it have a safety certificate?

I was 12, moaning to my Nana about riding to school & my skirt blowing up - She gave gave me a tip, from her younger days... A clothes peg!!
I can wear any sort of skirt or summer dress when on my MummyBike (step through frame), just clip the hems together, get a temporary shorts effect, and stops ya frock from blowing up & revealing all!!

He is publishing them to the web page so there may well be.

Basically although a public convenience is public, then someone taking your photograph you have a "reasonable expectation of privacy" and anyone taking your photo would have problems if they tried to publish

However on the street there is no such expectation so you are fair game, and providing the image is used honestly, truthfully and reasonably then there is no come-back.

For instance the Cycle Chic site is acceptable, but publishing the same photo on a "high heel fetish" site would not

In Copenhagen the ladies seemed to wear what they liked... skirts, heels, frocks. Dress for the destination, not the journey may be the ethos.

yup what he said, the thing is if you imply something untrue that is the problem hence fetish sites being out, ditto businesses wanting model releases on the stock images they use to rule out any sort of legal action taken

Can you go to the toilet wearing a clothes peg???

I might give the peg a go ... but I'm slightly worried I would end up forgetting about it in the same way I forget if I have one trouser rolled up or tucked in!! (At least the other two are known cycling afflictions ... I will possibly just verify my dubious dress sense.)

I'm not sure what they're called, but I've cycled in a pencilskirt before now with no trouble (Yes I am a lad, long story short I lost a dare)... if that helps

Did you avoid a suspender clip coming loose, or a ladder in a stocking as well?

What he said.

I think his page/blog goes beyond acceptable normal usage of images taken in a public place and only serves as a means of gratifying his fetish.

The guy is obviously well educated and technically adept enough with photographic observational art to dress it up as something other than fiddle material for himself, but it's fetish related porn to him all the same.

He needs to be honest and state his sexual interest in the images and ask for release forms to be signed or find/pay for models, or pack it in before the police have words with him.
