I decided to go for a walk today with a local walking group. I've been putting it off since the bloke who runs it invited me along in the summer. Today i didn't have any appointments so, off we(little dog came along) went Ok,i couldn't have picked a worse day. The pavements were treacherous with ice,but i thought i was "manning up" by sticking 2 fingers up to the weather and going along. It took me 20 minutes to get to where they meet,instead of what'd usually take about 12 minutes. When i got there there wasn't a single other walker there. They'd either set off before i got there(even though i wasn't late)or none had turned up due to the horrible weather.
