Good. Once it gets into the 140 pence realm people start burning it more sensibly.
What you also get is the likes of Quentin Wilson appearing all over TV & radio demanding a reduction in fuel duty despite it not having gone up in the past few years as noted earlier.

Regardless of whether I use it for work or personal travel, the price is too expensive.
But what does that mean, 'too expensive'? How much should it be? £1.20 a litre? 50p a litre? What would be 'the right price'?

I would be interested to know why you consider road fuel to be too expensive. The ever increasing number of vehicles on the road and the extravagant use of many motor vehicles would suggest to me that the vast majority of vehicle owners find the present level of fuel costs to be easily affordable.

I boil my kettle on the gas hob :tongue:
