I believe you'll average more than what you normally do, because it's mostly flat, you don't have to worry about traffic lights and if you get behind some faster cyclists they'll drag you along.

Ill be looking for the aster cyclists, just been for a blast tonight and kept a good speed up, so few more rides, bike shake down at the weekend and we can rock n roll

Well if I had one I'd be in biggest, but it would be getting baggy.... I'm in Manchester cycle top. But will wear a red carnation in helmet vent as a secret signal or carry a copy of the day before a metro..

On serious note really looking forward to it, ridden some of it with traffic before will be blast on free roads

I am doing my first organised event in the 26 miles version, as a warm up for the London to Brighton Nightride, if you see a large bloke in bright yellow resembling an overweight tweetypie lookalike, say hello as thats me!

I had booked the 52 but bottled it due to a massive mileage deficit this year! I've basically done one 40 mile that nearly killed me, and I've ridden to work a couple of times which is only 1.5 miles each way!

Figured I'd rather do the 26 and leave wanting more than kill myself doing the 52.
