I service my bike and a couple of my friends, I like doing it and how simple it is when you learn how, but after what I've seen come out of Halfords I'd be scared to put a child or adult on their serviced bikes

Hate to disappoint you all but it's back and running like a dream. Got it back in 48 hours like I say it was FOC.
The bike was a second hand but never ridden purchase but I wanted it checking before I went flying about on it

It's on priority moments on O2. You get a code and phone em and book it. Very straightforward and not even an attempt at an upsell. Got a receipt which shown it should've been £29.99.

Not disappointed at all, the fact it's running so sweet suggests they did nothing to it , but 48 hours to turn around a simple check over is very poor TBH.

But, as long as your pleased and it gets you out riding then happy days.

My local bike shop quoted one week and two weeks. The front brake was catching my wheel and they adjusted that. All I was doing was passing in what I thought was a good offer. I didn't really expect such a negative reaction. Like I say live n learn.
