The trouble with electronic handbrakes is that you can't do handbrake turns anymore!

Road traffic offence of "Quitting" £30 FPNThe engine was running. I'd popped out to drop something into a shop and forgot the dodgy bloody handbrake. My fault there.
My handbrake is a foot brake. Don't think I'll ever get used to it.
Is it because you pull it up with your hand by any chance?I often wonder why it is still called a handbrake.

Apply by foot , release by hand ( thing on dash ) ,,, oh and u can't get key out unless it's in park , Merc c class
I used to be a mechanic at a SAAB dealership in the late 70s, when they closed the service manager set up as an independent SAAB specialist workshop 'Malcolm Miles Motor Engineer', his sons run it now but they still have an excellent reputation (well deserved). When parked, you have to put my SAAB into reverse or the ignition switch won't release the key. SAABs are a bit weird, but in a good way.
Edit: Just read Raleighnut's post. He beat me to it.
Drives very well it too many sensors and stuff they are very temperemental( and expensive to fix) the fact u can't jump start them is a painI guessed what it was, I used to do a lot of dents for a Mercedes dealer.
