Has anybody dared venturing out on their bike today

Winds down to about 25 mph today so thinking of going out later. They are forecast to fall to about 5 mph this evening, but I'd rather go out in daylight than in the dark.

I cycled to/from work but obviously wasnt anywhere near as bad here. Going home was still quite hard going, straight into a headwind pretyy much all the way & struggled to manage 10mph on the flat!

Just want to put that one to bed.

Don't do Strava ,wouldn't win many (any) KOMs if I did.

Rode out yesterday into the teeth of the high wind but it blew me home nicely. Scorchio and a blue sky here this afternoon.

It was fine in Deal this morning on the Brommie, coffee in Belgium, lunch in Poland and Tea in Moscow,,,.didn’t notice the wind one bit....
