No but I got a lit cigarette end flicked from a passing car trapped under the strap. That was nasty!

Yes, twice, back in the days when I used to wear a helmet. Did not get stung but did have to do an emergency stop and get the helmet off before I was.

i understand that some models have a mesh over the holes to stop such things... but that's just hear-say on my part.

you could always stretch a stocking over it, just make sure you remove it before going into a bank or post office.

No, but if you are worried about it get a helmet with a bug guard.

No, but if you are worried about it get a helmet with a bug guard.

They don't work. The helmet I was wearing at the time had one but the bee still got in. Helmets only have mesh in the front few vents, not the all of them.
