Helmet recommendations

Any helmet recommendations from you guys? My old one looks tatty and is about 7 years old and don't fit very well.

Looking to spend around the fifty pound mark! It needs to be silver/white/black! I'm a bit of a tart!!

Helmet choice is very much a matter of personal taste and fit. Different manufacturers have subtly different shapes that fit different heads for better or worse.
By way of example, I get on well with MET helmets, but find Giro ones a bit narrow. Go and try a few on and see what suits you.

I like the adaptability/ fit of Bell helmets but as Landslide says its very much a personnel choice.

I tried on just about every helmet in every shop I passed for weeks before deciding on the MET Predatore (I have a big head). I was then lucky enough to find Chainreaction selling them with £30 off.

I have one of these and it fits grate.... and I am very very fussy as some of you know.

I have one of these which i picked up this morning for £80 down from £150, i was very pleased , its the sex (in terms of helmets).

I know what your saying about trying them on, but the only good bike shops are 16 miles away and are all closed on sundays which is my only day off! I had to take a day of work to pick my new bike up!
