But under all that decor there's a lot of original features. Stained glass windows, picture rails and a lovely tiled fireplace.

Obviously the plastic grass would have to go.

@MontyVeda - a house near me has just had patio doors put in place of a garage door with full view from the road. At least they've got a small hedge.

I've seen loads of front doors like that, wouldn't specifically put them in the patio door bracket

The owners probably spend more time inside their house than out the front looking at it. They obviously favour their own enjoyment of the life inside the house rather than the opinions of passers-by.
