The Glue that binds us together.
Drilled hole in back of sideboard to run a power cable through, now the printer can stay in cupboard when we want to print anything, keeps everything nice and tidy.

Chillblains at school then at their mums for the night so barring the dog, an ideal time to get some painting done.
Hallway, 5 doors, frames and skirts glossed. Dogs crate and freezer had to come out from under the stairs to get to everything so painted the walls under there too while accessible.
It's never simple is it, so much stuff to do just to get to where you need. It'll all go back in the morning the second phase next Friday (probably do some more walls while girls are at school next week)
Isnt 'proper' gloss getting harder to buy now...I've used water based in the past but fed up of having to three coat it everytime...and it doesn't take damage, and its peeled in places..so oil based it is this time.

Friday i aim to do some more of the already started hallway, stairs and landing decorating while I have a 36 hour child free period.
Got bored this evening so at around 9pm, got the wall paint out and did a couple small walls in the hallway..that'll speed the remainder up.
Finished at 10.15ish pm.
Impromptu decorating ? Flash decorating ? Any other descriptions ?

Catio extension. Was about to use the timber for a planter and got informed it's for the catio. We had a shelf that ran along the back garden for the cats but that eventually rotted. This is twice the height. We already had the wire. Existing catios to the left and right of the replacement extension.

Complete with cat.

A very convoluted attempt to do a simple job today, remove old dishwasher pipe and trap, feed dishwasher hose straight into sink trap spigot.
Test it tomorrow, ensure no problems.

Also finally finished the hall stairs and landing, just the stair sides glosswork today...and thats that.

Make sure you loop the waste hose up under the bottom of the worktop to stop the sink water back filling the dishwasher.
