I have enjoyed many a toasted tea cake during a rest stop.
And talking of which, a toasted tea cake or an Eccles cake are also a delight to scoff.

I stocked up yesterday, hot cross buns from Tesco and Asda, to compare of course! I saw a Warburton's hot cross bun loaf so I bought that too! It was delicious with cheese as a sandwich and another slice with jam.

Anything with dried fruit in I think - Christmas cake, mince pies, sly cake, drop scones...
