Yes, I knew that. I saw the film a fair few years ago, but I remember all the talk about that when it came out.
I did that planned route today (apart from a slight detour down towards Danescourt when I missed the Radyr turn!)

I actually enjoyed it. I think the Heol Goch road is probably the easiest way up, even though Strava has it as Cat 4 and doesn't have the Tyn-y-Coed way categorised at all.
