It was, you're looking at the wrong bit. The plate I had was XLV

Looks like a silver shadow 1 maybe a series 2.

I worked on them as a apprentice panel beater.
Amazing smell of leather inside,fabulous interior.

The Triumph Stag I had was a 'K' plate and around '72 fromwhat I remember, so the OP plate must be a fair bit older, even if the car isn't.
