I tend to be a bit of a detached observer when I see people getting all worked up about what I regard as relatively trivial things. It seems to me that one guiding principle should not be to constantly striving for more of everything. What I mean is to identify what you think will make you happy and content and once you've got there just relax and try to really start living.
