Assuming I have actually worked that day and assuming that I actually need relaxing as work is not generally stressful for me: a cup of Latte & bit of web-surfing and getting the house cosied up* for the Lovely Mrs SD's arrival home usually does the trick.
* Entailing: ensuring bed is made, dishwasher is emptied, fire is lit (all bar about three weeks of the year), Mrs SD's Kindle is on her arm of the TV watching sofa and not on the arm of one of the gazing out the front of the house sofas, the candles are lit (can't afford electricity
) and having a pair of Mrs SD's cat, rabbit, stripey, big fluffy etc slippers (depending on current favourite) ready to go.

I have taken the conscious decision not to have children, so glad of it!
