This question is general, but with the office Christmas party season and its temptations upon us, it is probably timely.

I wondered what folks' views were about about fidelity:

How far can you go with somebody else before you are being unfaithful to your partner?

...you mean...ride ..a ...bike ..... with sssS..h..i...m..a..n.o...?;)

I would not deserve to be forgiven

What User said - if you share any kind of intimacy with someone else, explicitly express feelings for them, and they are explicitly reciprocated, then you've crossed the line. Having feelings and not expressing them is OK because you've not actually gone there. Fanstasising is perfectly OK, as long as you don't let it become a reality.

I agree. A kiss on the cheek can be an act of unfaithfulness, but likewise a kiss on the lips might be totally innocent. I think the rest of the options are always going to count as being unfaithful in any rational person's mind, though.

It's perfectly possible to be unfaithful without any physical contact at all.

Could you expand on this?

Interesting that one voter thinks you can go the whole way – assume this is an 'open' relationship.

What have you done Spire?
Methinks a conscience is crying out for salvation.

Or is it a case of what are you planning on?

"But darling, a bunch of strangers on a cycling forum said it wasn't being unfaithful!"

Never mind, I can recommend a mediocre lawyer!
