stop. I'm battling to come to terms with most of what was written back in 2007 and I'm failing. Let me ask this.

Are you saying that people who are supposed to be in a monogamous relationship have a duty not to form emotional ties with others? Because if you are (and I apologise if I've got this wrong) then that's a pretty arid kind of life you're advocating.
