BMI is meaningless.
Yes, it can be meaningless for individuals of the wrong build (e.g. very muscular), but you can't seriously be saying that it isn't highlighting a serious problem in populations? :whistle:

(I happen to be one of the people that BMI works pretty well for. I am a medium build and am flabby at 25 and skinny at 19.)

Tyne & Wear doesn't appear to feature, but I'm overweight so I ain't helping! Oh well, at least I'm not obese anymore.

That's what I was thinking. Mind, obese used to mean someone with a BMI of 40 or over, and now it is 30.
