York is 58.4. Given the supposed link with pay I thought Leeds and Hull would be high but in not too bad at 62 and 60% whereas posh Harrogate is 64%!

My area's probably quite 'fat'. It's very hilly, and just about everybody except me drives around. My driveway is always empty, and the neighbouring ones are always overflowing with cars. They should all thank me for keeping the local fat quotient down, because I even walk to the local shopping centre when grocery shopping

The thing is, it's only going to get worse isn't it? I can't see what can be done. Everyone knows what they need to do to reach & maintain a healthy weight, but not many of us do it. At the minute, I've worked out that if I cycle 100 miles per week, I can eat what I want and lose about 4lbs a month.

Interesting. Central Bedfordshire is 69%, whilst Luton (being a unitary council within Beds) is only 59%.
