); its turned wet and windy again however, (the start of winter 08/09
)It's still not great here but the weather turned somewhere near the end of March. The sudden howling gales and continuous rain showers lessened and went. Sure it's windy, though more of a strong draft than something that's got the power to lift the roof and blow bins over, it hasn't rained for 3 days but despite the sun, the wind is still bitter. The barometer has certainly recorded a few more highs in the last few weeks than it did over the whole of winter.
