That's me when I haven't got the strimmers out in a couple of weeks.

I still have a full head of hair that still grows too blooming fast, so from a 12mm cut it's bushy in about 4-6 weeks again. Argh.

Go for a number 2 and have a good think.

Once out of the toilet get a number 2 haircut.

As you get older hair can become more brittle and brittle hairs break easily. The overall look is less sleek and shiny than younger hair. There comes a point where it's best to cut it at least to the length of the shorter broken hairs.
I have theory that long hair puts years on a middle aged man.

In that case as a 50+ bloke with long hair how old would I look with short hair.

Sorry @jefmcg it's that photo again but AKAIK it was the last time anyone pointed a camera at me, last time I saw my mate Ian he hadn't a clue who the girl was either but it was at 'Off The Tracks' in September 2015.

Not a good chapter. Rained off today so nipped into the barbers’. ‘Hairrazor’ it’s called.

Each time it was my turn, the allotted barber did a Marie Celeste. Ended up with a lady who was visibly shaken by what appeared from the queue. She wasn’t watching and landed in my hairy trap. No escape for the unwary.

Her ‘What can I do for you sir? And is it for charity?’

Me ‘Nope, just 8 inches please.’

Her ‘That’s probably 2 more than I’ll need sir.’

Tittering all round

Still I think I’ve come out the other side unharmed. Maybe not as good looking as the other hirsute forumites, but there we are. In fact (and quite scarily) I look like a younger version of @raleighnut ! Something you need to tell me?
