I know that this is a thread about pairs but has anybody got any divorced gloves? I can only find one silk liner glove.

Probably about 7 pairs, one singleton.

Many: fingerless, lightweight, waterproof, crab claw, liner and spares of some.

Only pair of note are electrically heated liner gloves (blazewear), a miracle cure for Raynauds which otherwise makes winter cycling an utter misery.

In use:
3 pairs of mitts
2 pairs of thermal acrylic gloves, worn under the mitts in winter (just a couple of £ each and cope with temps down to around freezing!)
I pair of Planet X Crab Hand gloves for flat bar use when it gets too cold for the thermals
I pair of Polaris winter gloves with 1 pair of Decathlon liner gloves worn together for drop bar use as above
Spares: At least one pair of each of the above

I keep finding bags of gloves (mitts, lightweight full-fingered and thick winter full-fingered) that I buy whenever Lidl has them on sale. I stick them away and forget about them until I find them again. I then vow not to buy any more and to remember about the stash I've rediscovered... and then I promptly forget all about them again.

Rinse and repeat...

2 pairs of gloves, none of which is cycling specific

- pair of fingerless gloves which are more like gym gloves (bought 10 years ago and never used at the gym)
- pair of everlast knitted gloves that I use also when I go running.

As someone comparatively new to cycling I'm learning as I go.
I never bothered with gloves until I fell of my Brompton on the way back from the pub and cut my hand.
Since then I have purchased some Specialised fingerless gloves in colours that match my bikes, and a pair of warm toasty ones from Decathlon.
My absolute favourites, and most comfortable though are the pair that I found lying on a bench in County Durham. 😉
