xiao hua bu liang ..... literally "digestion not good"

When I'm in China they always bring me KFC if we're working late so what you've bought looks a step up in quality

Seriously though, sandwiches are fine. Suggest next time buy some fruit and natural yoghurt (Chinese seem to live on this)

Duly noted. Thank you

I do eat out for a curry once a week - same place and same friends as for the last 30 years - but tbh I don't see the point of buying takeaways when I have a perfectly good stove at home, plus a slow cooker if I really want a hot meal immediately I get in.

She says that she cannot afford to buy food to make a meal and can't afford to learn to cook (delia lessons online now I believe).
...

blimey... if she can spend 4-5 quid on a take-out, surely she can afford a bag of spuds, a carrot, a tin of peas and a couple of sausages??? oh, and a pan of water!

as for 'learn to cook'... put in pan, heat... eat when edible!

...unless of course this person has learning/living difficulties. Then it's a different story

Probably just about 11 a year; we like Dominos and we have a nice Chinese takeaway very nearby. Ipswich isn't exactly thick to the red line with erotic food. When I worked in London I ate a fair number of burritos, proper ones.

Our local chippy is good, but the portions are crazy; medium haddock and chips does for me, the wife and the spawn, and none of us have dainty appetites.

Ready meals never ever.

Start another thread if you wish to talk about erotic food. ^_^

I reckon NT and I have a takeaway or eat out maybe once a month, although it depends a lot on whether he comes here at a weekend, or I go to his. Mainly Chinese, or perhaps fish and chips. When we go to Mum's to visit, we try and fit in fish and chips, as she has a brilliant chippie nearby. They do monster portions, one will usually do for all three of us!

I voted 51-100, as I probably have one per week - well, I gotta give you nobbers some chance of keeping up with me

I, personally, have about 2 a year, so some greedy git is eating my share and my educated guess is that it's Noodley.

It's bad enough you calling me a greedy git but also giving me the label 'Noodley' well that's going too far

Yep, I'm one of the 100+ box tickers...my weight has never been a mystery to me

Only a couple of times a year. Going back 15 years we used to have one a week. I am now about 45lbs lighter, though there can't possibly be any connection.
