How much longer do we have?

Sorry. Misunderstood the original post.
That's cos I missed out the important bit!

That's my point... we adapt the environment around us in the blink of an eye, so there's no need for evolution to adapt 'the long way round'.
We adapt, that’s what makes humans so successful. There’s virtually no other creature that can be born anywhere on the planet in such contrasting environments and survive like we can.

However over the long term humans may evolve beyond simply adapting. But that’s the long game and I doubt we'll last long enough to see it.

I'm convinced there will be huge societal upheavels in our lifetime, possibly with a breakdown or partial breakdown of government. Were nearly at tipping point, it just needs a shove, perhaps a North Korean EMP, Coronal Mass Ejection event, a massively wet year of flooding, the prophesised Maunder Minimum II from 2030, something sufficiently large and disruptive.
In the west quite possibly. Future not looking great. Some will blame it all on the proles. The circularity of history.

Don't believe everything they tell you on Horizon.
