On a serious note, I often see cyclists with their right arm fully extended horizontally and for a prolonged period. I would never do that for fear of it being chopped off by a close passing motorist.

They must really not like cyclists round by you!

the whole of the back on my warm gloves are fluorescent yellow by day and retroreflective by night; I've often wondered if I look like a mime to following cars.

I saw a guy on a motorbike yesterday making a hand-signal when leaving a roundabout as well as using his indicator. It looked really, really strange which I suppose is the point, I saw him doing it

Exaggerated mine today as some folk will draft anything. I was on a recovery ride today keeping it 55-65% and had four folk sit on my wheel for bits of my commute.
